Ricardo Teodósio surprises and becomes the first leader
Ricardo Teodósio, in a Hyundai i20N Rally2 from Team Hyundai Portugal, surprised everyone in the opening classification competition of the Rally Serras de Fafe, Felgueiras, Boticas, Vieira do Minho and Cabeceiras de Basto, by achieving the best time mark and, at the same time, the first place in the opening stage of the CPR (Portugal Rally Championship) and also the FIA-ERC (European Championsihp). The Czech Erik Cais (Skoda Fabia) was the closest, 0.2 seconds away and, the third, Miko Marczyk (Skoda Fabia), with a registered difference of 1.3 seconds to the first pilot from Algarve.
Designed in Fafe’s city centre, a super-special 1,43 km long was the “appetizer” to the show that, starting this Saturday, will be provided by a set of excelling pilots, like Hayden Paddon, Craig Breen or Mads Ostberg, among many others, to whom the national CPR pilots join.
Let’s see how the classification was established:
