For the first time with two special classifications (Boticas/Vale do Tâmega and Boticas/Senhor do Monte) on the Serras de Fafe, Felgueiras, Boticas, Vieira do Minho and Cabeceiras de Basto Rally program, the Boticas county has decided, this year, to appoint the Boticas Cup to the fastest Portuguese and foreign pilots to clear the four sections timed in that region.

The Finnish rally champion duo, Mikko Heikkila/Samu Vaaleri, current leaders of the event organized by Demoporto, were the fastest among the foreign pilots, whilst Miguel Correia and his navigator Jorge Carvalho were awarded the trophy meant for the Portuguese.

The Boticas county Vice President, Dr. António Guilherme Pires, and the Sports Director of the FPAK (Portuguese Federation for Motor Racing and Karting), Paulo Magalhães, delivered the Boticas Cup awards to the respective winners.
